Chinese New Year is not over. Yet.
Today is the last day of the happy occassion. But let me recount what happened during the first few days of the festival.

Went back to Indonesia on CNY eve. Saw alot of family members. It was such a happy thing to see alot of your family members. So it was considered as a family gathering right? :D
Saw my aunts, uncles, cousins. Played with the younger generation as well. Night came, and we had our reunion dinner. There was a lot of food, all of which is my mother's cookings. yum, yum (:
after the dinner, we helped with the dishes and sat down to chit-chat. Stayed until 2.30am with my cousins and some of the aunts and uncles. Gambling kept us up all night. :D

First Day
Woke up at around 8+ and wished everyone a Happy Chinese New Year, with all those normal greetings. Good health, prosperity, wealth etc. After the greetings came the red packets. :DDDD
everyone was so happy when the red packets were presented. of course, who doesn't like money?
Then after that we bathed. Put on our new clothings etc. (: took some pictures, and my sister and I set off to go to my neighbour's house. Met up with them, and collected red packets from their parents as well. Then we set off to other neighbours' house. We're all close neighbours, arent we? ( when we're on the mission to collect red packets ) :D
Returned home at around 2+. no such luck on the first day. but it's okay for us, because we heard from our parents that alot of relatives are coming at night to pay us the greetings. SO, more red packets in the night. Which made us look forward to night-time.

Second Day / Third Day
nothing much. we just stayed at home and waited for people to give us red packets. erm, i mean greetings. (:
collected much red packets for this day already. at about 19. for two days, that was so powerful. (:

Fourth Day
went back to Singapore at late afternoon.
nothing much in Singapore .. -.-

That was my chinese new year, some how, its different from the other years.. but i still have alot of red packets (:
